    I'm in LOOOVE with this Nilotica Shea Butter! It is so soft, creamy, and moisturizing. I couldn't keep my hands out of it. I've purchased Nilotica Shea Butter from two different suppliers and this shea butter doesn't even compare. The first supplier I bought Nilotica shea butter from was very similar, but I don't remember it being as creamy and moisturizing like this shea butter. I would've bought more from that supplier if the customer service wasn't so horrible. I waited two weeks for my butters to arrive. Emailed the owner with delayed responses. Never ordered from that supplier again. The butter I purchased from the second supplier, which I currently have, doesn't even compare. It is way more firmer and not even the same color. Comparing the two side by side, I believe the previous supplier sold me the more popular shea butter that comes from west Africa, mixed in with east African shea butter. With that said, I won't be purchasing shea butter or any other butter from that supplier again!

    I must say that I took a leap of faith by purchasing 6 lbs of Nilotica Shea Butter with no reviews, as well as not knowing the quality before I bought such a large amount. That's why I had to write this review to assure you that you're receiving quality shea butter. What you should take note of is that this shea butter is tested by the Shea Butter Institute. If you're not familiar with them, I suggest take a trip to their website. The Shea Butter Institute is where I learned there a grades to Shea Butter and you must get it tested to receive a grade. Precious Provisions is the only supplier I found that tests their shea butter to be graded by the Shea Butter Institute. The proof is in the pudding. Consider me now a loyal customer! Thanks Precious Provisions for providing quality shea butter!!

    I will always purchase my nilotica shea butter from Precious Provisions. Not only is the product quality outstanding, but the care taken to ship it is superb. I appreciate the way they package my butter, and the hand-written note of thanks is such a special touch.

    P.S. : I am so glad you also carry the 6lb version. I like to buy in bulk! It will fill in nicely until you get the 8.25 lb back in. Hint, hint. . . :-)
